Ok so we are officially being boring...

so what's everyone reading, watching at the moment because even if we are having a life outside we're probably at least doing those 2 things.

Mostly seem to be living at work these days and going to the gym. The movie theater offerings are a bit crap lately. Interdominion harness racing over the next 2 weeks so I'll be going to that.

Watching on TV

Battlestar Galactica, CSI Vegas, would be watch Tru calling if I didn't keep missing it. Still trying to catch up and watch the first 2 eps of new season of Bad Girls but apparently its getting a bit old and repetitive. Plus I learnt my fave bad girl died in the 2nd ep so Poot!

At the movies

Latest seen, House of Flying Daggers, Sideways, Sky Captain. enjoyably average although Daggers was cool esp. fight scene in the bamboo but Hero's storyline was better.

On DVD

Finished watching .hack/sign anime, very excellent show I want a Lady Subaru tattoo.

Watching Saikano vol. 1 pretty WOW! factor on the emotional side Chise is cool.


Reading

recently finished Monstrous Regiment- Terry Pratchett, definitely one of his best and I love Twelfth Night so this was right up my alley. Lots of one liners I should add to my sig.

Bought a whole bunch of manga cheap so been reading that.

Hana Kimi vol. 1 (lazy cut and paste blurb)

This is really funny would make a great anime. I'm getting vol. 2 ordered.

Kare Kano vol. 1-4

A really romantic comedy series about a girl and boy who are perfect for each other and the last people to realise it is themselves. I'm really enjoying this its sooo romantic.

Comics

Picked up Hunter Killer last week looks good so far.

Been reading Stupid, Stupid Rat Tales! This is almost better than the Bone saga itself, highly recommended.

Finished all 4 volumes of The Adventures of Barry Ween Boy genius. Go out and buy it now! NOW I SAY!


Oh yeah and in the last 2 months my little sis...split up with her husband, moved back home in all kinds of debts, with her 5 cats, they then proceeded to have a custody battle over the cats during which they seesawed back and forth between them, we ended up finding new homes for all the cats, except i now have a new cat, oh and sis has new BF who got promoted to job in Sydney Oz, he paid for her to go on a week's holiday there when he moved during which she found herself a job at the same hotel, she came back for a week and moved to Sydney, leaving mum to handle a fair bit of her debt whcih he has to slowly pay mum back for. *stops for breath* Oh yeah Jace, Rich and 3P this is what I was gonna e-mail you about but just ended up doing it here.

And we had the house painted.

On videogames, "Shenmue" again and "Ratchet and Clank III".

In life. Nothing. So why don't I post more? Well, doing nothing takes up a lot of time, you know.

TV: pro wrestling on Monday nights. "Inside the Actors Studio" sometimes. Any tv showing of "Jerry Maguire" or "Bridget Jones's Diary" or "The Bachelor" for no other reason than I've got a mad crush on Renee Zellweger.

Reading: The Moo Cow book. A poignant tale of a cow who loves the reader. Best read in a whimsical "babytalk" voice.

On TV: Blue's Clues, Sesame Street and any other colorful, puppetfilled show.

On DVD: Now I actually did watch an interesting movie. Saw.

I've been staying with friends for the last couple months to help take care of their 3-year-old, and 8-year-old. So my list goes something like this;

TV: Blue's Clues, Wiggles, Dora the Explorer (my fave), and Spongebob Squarepants.

Reading: Various reader books to help the 8-year-old with her fluency problem.

Movies: I did get to see Saw because the mother is a fan of scary movies. I'm not. She also made me watch the revised Excorcist.

Since that job's come to an end, I plan on going back to my regular schedule of not watching TV except for the news, and reading a copy of The Elfstones of Shannara that I just picked up. I'm not even sure what's playing in the theaters these days.

Are you better off without your sister living with you CB?
